Item Build

Starting Items

you start with 475g
Hunter's Machete

No need for health potions, Mana Potion or Sight Ward up to you.

Core Build

Feral FlareBlade of The Ruined KingMadred's BloodrazorSpirit Visage

After first clear, buy Madred's Razors .

You can continue and build into Wriggle's Lantern or start building towards Blade of The Ruined King . Keep an eye on your flare stacks, as they show even before you buy wriggle's lantern, make sure you have it by the time you reach 30. Once you have Blade of The Ruined King and Feral Flare , you're free to choose which item you build next at your discretion.

Madred's Bloodrazor is expensive, but is 20% max health magic damage when you press R.

Spirit Visage Is great for increasing your already large healing and making you a better duelist and more resistant to AP burst.

Flex Items

Randuin's OmenGuardian AngelMaladyGuinsoo's RagebladeStark's FervorIonic SparkForce of NatureSpirit of the Ancient GolemWit's End

Randuin's Omen Great against heavy basic attack and AD teams, and the active ability allows you to stick to your enemies easily.

Guardian Angel If you're ahead and expect to be focused, this is a great pick up in tandem with your healing.

Malady When ahead this shreds squishy magic resist, increasing the damage of your Feral Flare Wit's End Madred's Bloodrazor and Eternal Thirst (P) .

Guinsoo's Rageblade Personally I'm not a fan, however it scales very quickly with your ult stacking it to 5, and allows you to keep on fighting after you've killed one person already.

Stark's Fervor Cheap team pick-up that also gives you a small damage boost, some health, and some life steal.

Ionic Spark Cheap power spike that gives some health.

Force of Nature Against heavy AP teams, tons of MR, and move speed.

Spirit of the Ancient Golem Tenacity and 500 Health all in one for 2000g.
Wit's End Is great against teams with heavy AP damage or if the enemy jungler is an AP duelist like Fiddlesticks or Evelynn

Boots

Boots of Mobility

Jungle respawns faster, you need to stack up, and you need to gank quickly with your R and go back to farming.

Boots of mobility help with all of that. Unless you're truly getting destroyed everywhere you go, I wouldn't pick up Ninja Tabi or Mercury's Treads

Infinite Duress

I prefer Blood Scent (E) max second due to its increased range and move speed, allowing you to quickly gank, and stick to enemies.

If you're behind, max Hunter's Call (W)

Introduction

Warwick is a very strong duelist, who makes fast work of jungle camps and enemy champions. His Infinite Duress (R) is an unavoidable 5 on-hit chain ultimate.

Using items like Feral Flare Blade of The Ruined King Wit's End Madred's Bloodrazor and more allows you to do insane amounts of unavoidable damage with one ability. Turning almost every 1v1 into a guaranteed victory.

On top of that though, his kit is nothing to laugh at. Large Eternal Thirst (P) damage and healing, Hungering Strike (Q) percent max health damage, and a solid steroid for your team Hunter's Call (W) , and good conditional mobility and vision with Blood Scent (E)

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • High damage

  • High survivability

  • Healthy and fast clear

  • Good carry potential

Cons

  • Requires significant farming

Early Game

Avoid ganking if at all possible early, or unless a gank presents itself on a silver platter. Typically your gank would only occur at the end of your jungle clear, if the side you end up on is overextended. Other wise, back, buy up and do your clear again, in classic jungle comes up quickly. Mute your team if you have to, do not spend a minute or 2 messing around in your laners fight, even if enemy jg is there.

At level 6 with Infinite Duress (R) you want to be ganking the second this is off cool-down. After finishing your jungle clear, look for any lane that you can jump into and kill. Even if you can't kill, taking pressure off your laner will help you snowball your teams lead.

Mid Game

Once you have Feral Flare and Blade of The Ruined King , you can start fighting aggressively. Steal enemy camps, take objectives, and rack up kills. If you have sufficiently farmed, you will be unstoppable in the 1v1 and will be able to safely 1v2 jungle and laner if you play it right.

Once you have a lead with warwick, it will be very easy to invade and shut down the enemy jungler. Try to take his camps and leave one monster alive to stop the respawn timer. Buy vision to keep an eye on where he is and try to catch him.

Do not stop farming at any point in the game, continue farming and your lead will grow bigger, because of the gold you'll acquire, and the Feral Flare stacks.

Matchups

Skarner Tough match-up, avoid early, you can't really catch him if you are even, and his ult can pull you out of position. Try to avoid team fighting when he is there, and if you have to, wait for your team to engage.

Nunu & Willump Pretty much impossible to catch, but he can't kill you, just out-farm him.

Master Yi You beat him at most stages of the game, be wary of QSS, if he has it, save your ult to interrupt his meditation if you can help it.

Rammus You can out-heal the damage since thornmail does not give grievous wounds anymore.

Evelynn You beat her at all stages of the game if you're equally farmed with ultimate.

Shaco Don't get baited into following him, just focus on farming and killing him when he is out of position or makes a mistake.

Sion A fed AD Sion will out-heal you with his ultimate, so if he pops it, just walk away and re-engage after if possible, or lock him down with R and let team help you kill.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading, I honestly miss farming mindlessly for 25 minutes and then just obliterating the enemy. Please like and feel free to comment any questions :)

I usually go down the offense tree but I'll have to try out going 21 utility. I do worry that some matchups against Yi for example it could be difficult to fight early using move speed quints but I've never tried anything but AD/AS runes myself.

Yea I tried the same thing when I started, but I realized that when I am ahead I win the 1v1 regardless, and when I fall behind I'm going to lose the 1v1 to duelist like Yi. Going utility really allows me to optimize my farming with more MS, gold and XP. Classic really allows you to 1v5 if fed enough.
