About ClassicRift
A fan-made home for League of Legends Classic builds, guides, and game data.
ClassicRift is a community site for League of Legends Classic, the mode where Riot Games focuses on designing the game based on the champions, items, and other mechanics found in early seasons of League of Legends. Because Classic is its own fully supported game mode, builds written for current versions of standard League of Legends do not transfer to it, and the mainstream build sites do not always cover it. ClassicRift exists to fill that gap.
What's here
Player-written guides for every champion, complete reference pages for all 60 champions and 149 items in the mode, the runes and masteries systems, a community tier list maker, a champion skin viewer, and a patch changes log that tracks what Riot adjusts between builds.
Champion, item, rune and mastery data is compiled directly from League of Legends Classic itself and refreshed after each patch, so the numbers on these pages are the game's own rather than transcribed by hand. Each patch's differences are reviewed before they are published to /changes, though they may not always be perfectly up to date.
Who runs it
ClassicRift is built and maintained by the site owner SushiHour, a long-time League of Legends player, as a solo project to help the community. It launched on 17 July 2026 and is developed in the open with the League Classic community, and most features on the site started as requests online.
Guides and moderation
Guides are written by community members, and each one is credited to its author on the page. The author is responsible for their own advice; ClassicRift does not verify that a build wins games. Item stats, ability numbers and costs shown on a guide come from the game data above, not from the author.
Every image uploaded to a guide is reviewed by a human before any reader can see it; until then a placeholder stands in its place. Readers can report a guide or comment, reports go to a moderation queue, and accounts that abuse the site are suspended. A small number of authors are marked Verified Creator, which is a recognition of their off-site content creation to the League of Legends Classic community and nothing more. It grants no special powers on the site.
How the site is paid for
ClassicRift is free and has no paywall, no accounts to upgrade, and nothing to buy. Hosting, the database and image storage cost real money each month. That is covered by reader donations and by advertising. Ads never influence which guides rank, which builds are recommended, or what the game data says. See the privacy policy for what advertising means for your data.
Not affiliated with Riot Games
ClassicRift isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. It is a fan project created under Riot's “Legal Jibber Jabber” policy using assets owned by Riot Games.
