Hunter's Machete and 5 Health Potion start.

You may not need all the pots on your first clear, but they will always be helpful.

Early Items (Long Swords)

The BrutalizerBoots of SpeedLong SwordLong SwordLong SwordLong Sword

DO NOT BUY JUNGLE ITEMS - Your goal is to snowball the game, not power farm the jungle. Don't waste too much mana on camps.

Buy as many long swords as you can afford on each recall unless you can finish The Brutalizer.

Never build Spirit Stone. Wait until you have The Brutalizer, two or more Long Swords, and Boots of Speed before finishing Spirit of the Elder Lizard.

Core Build

Spirit of the Elder LizardThe Black CleaverThe BrutalizerMercury's Treads

After your first The Brutalizer finish Spirit of the Elder Lizard.

This is a massive power spike. You can easily isolate and kill squishy targets with your support/midlane. Fight with your strong team members and invade the enemy jungle.

Next, finish The Black Cleaver and build another The Brutalizer. Now you will have 40% CDR and 26 lethality. Kill Sivir on repeat.

Only finish boots once you have Elder Lizard, Black Cleaver and Brutalizer. Mercury's Treads or Boots of Mobility are the go to options. Ninja Tabis are always good against multiple auto-attackers.

Youmuu's Ghostblade has low AD, but the extra lethality and move speed are very powerful. Finish it next and attempt to finish the game.

Fourth and Fifth Item Options

Maw of MalmortiusLast WhisperThe BrutalizerWarmog's ArmorBanshee's VeilMercurial Scimitar

Maw of Malmortius is your best fourth item against most teams. Hexdrinker is a great item against assassins like Kassadin and Katarina, but should not be built before finishing your Elder Lizard and Cleaver.

Last Whisper is the strongest fourth item against otherwise squishy champions who build some armor, like Ezreal or Morgana.

For the most immediate power spike to stay ahead of the curve and keep nuking squishies, just buy another The Brutalizer as your fourth item.

As a final item, Warmog's Armor or Banshee's Veil can allow you to take just enough damage to finish off the enemy ADC, otherwise just build Last Whisper or Maw of Malmortius.

Summoner Spells

FlashSmite

Flash is too valuable to give up. Take Summoner's Insight to reduce its cooldown.

Flat AD marks and quints offer the most early game fighting power and jungle clear speed. Flat health seals are taken for the same reason. Five flat cooldown reduction glyphs and one scalung allow us to reach 40% with our core build.

Alternatively, more scaling magic resistance glyphs can be used to mitigate AP assassins and mages who threaten to kill you before you can execute your target.

UTILITY: 1

The Offense tree has great synergy with Pantheon, so we double down on being an assassin and take 27 points in offense. This tree offers the best early game power and scaling.

4 points in Sorcery are essential to reach 10% cooldown reduction. Lethality, Frenzy and Executioner help with our jungle clear and Sunder synergizes well with our core lethality items.

The other points are spent on Tough Skin and Summoner's Insight.

Alternatively, points can be taken out of the jungle masteries, Butcher and Tough Skin, in exchange for three points in Wanderer and one in Mastermind.

Introduction

Pantheon is one of the strongest laners in League Classic, but his jungling ability should not be underestimated.

He is nearly unmatched as an early/mid game AD assassin jungler, with his only true rival being Lee Sin. Your job is to isolate squishies with your team and destroy them on repeat. As soon as you reach levels 3 and 4, you are an extreme threat to everyone on the map.

His Aegis Protection (P) keeps his jungle clear healthy, while the low cooldown on Spear Shot (Q) and the execution passive of Heartseeker Strike (E) make his clear fast enough to deter invades.

Heartseeker Strike (E)'s execution critical strike damage makes him very difficult to out-smite and makes his own invades very powerful.

If you like building Long Swords and sending Twitch back to the fountain, then this Pantheon build is your golden ticket.

How to Play

Your goal is to snowball the game. The game should unrecoverable for the enemy team by the time we finish our second The Brutalizer.

Your job is to skirmish with your team and pick off squishies. Try to play with your support and midlaner as much as possible. When you are on your item spikes, you are an extreme threat, so ping your teammates into battle when you have your first The Brutalizer or when you finish Spirit of the Elder Lizard. Always look for fights where you outnumber your opponents.

Play as a caster. You are not an auto attacker and should try to stay on the outskirts of fights until you have the opportunity to Aegis of Zeonia (W) and unleash your Heartseeker Strike (E). Auto attacks are important to keep refreshing your Aegis Protection (P), but if you are caught in the middle of the fight with no cooldowns or no mana, you are as good as dead.

Prioritize low health targets. You do double damage to targets below 15% health. If your Heartseeker Strike (E) brings a target below 15% with the first strikes, the last strikes will benefit from the crit bonus.

When trying to assassinate a squishy, always start fights with Spear Shot (Q) before Aegis of Zeonia (W) if possible, then immediately channel Heartseeker Strike (E). Your Spear Shot (Q) will now be off cooldown and you can use it to finish off a fleeing target.

When chasing fleeing opponents, hold your Aegis of Zeonia (W) as long as possible to match the opponent's dashes, flashes or CC. Spam Spear Shot (Q) and auto attacks until you can finish them off with Aegis of Zeonia (W) and Heartseeker Strike (E).

Because Heartseeker Strike (E) causes you to stand still and is easily avoided, only use it on enemies that are crowd controlled or that will die during the channel. Channeling Heartseeker Strike (E) at the wrong time will allow your opponents to escape and leave you vulnerable to skill shots.

DO NOT USE Grand Skyfall (R) TO ENGAGE groups of enemies away from your team. You are not Malphite and you do not engage fights for your team. Grand Skyfall (R) should be used to cut off or scatter enemies who are already locked into combat with your teammates. Use Grand Skyfall (R) to gank in lane phase and to pick off sidelaners and stragglers in mid game. In late game 5v5s, use your ultimate to flank or cut off escape angles.
You do not need to hit anyone with the damage of Grand Skyfall (R) for it to be useful. You have the ability to place yourself anywhere on the map. Get creative.
