Hybrid Off-Meta MF
Off-MetaMiss Fortune ADC by PanosFM — updated Jul 22, 2026
An alternative way to play Miss Fortune at bot lane.
Item Build
Core Build
Manamune → Muramana
The foundation of the build.
Old Miss Fortune spends a lot of mana during lane phase through repeated casts of:
Double Up
Make It Rain
Impure Shots
Manamune solves every mana problem while also providing bonus AD.
Once upgraded into Muramana it converts that large mana pool into additional attack damage, giving excellent scaling into the late game.
It allows you to spam abilities without sacrificing your auto attack damage.
Boots of Swiftness
Miss Fortune has always been about positioning.
Extra movement speed lets you
kite easier
chase
reposition for Bullet Time
rotate between lanes faster
Combined with her passive movement speed, she becomes extremely difficult to catch.
Guinsoo's Rageblade
Probably the most important item after Muramana.
It provides
Attack Speed
Ability Power
Attack Damage
stacking offensive stats
Every auto attack increases both AD and AP.
That means:
stronger auto attacks
stronger Make It Rain
stronger Impure Shots
stronger Bullet Time
higher sustained DPS
Trinity Force
One of the most versatile items.
Provides nearly every stat Miss Fortune wants:
Health
Mana
Attack Damage
Attack Speed
Movement Speed
Sheen proc
Crit
Double Up constantly activates Sheen, making poke much stronger while also increasing burst during trades.
Malady
Malady gives
Attack Speed
Ability Power
bonus magic damage on-hit
stacking magic resistance reduction
Why it's good:
Old Miss Fortune naturally mixes physical and magic damage.
The AP increases Make It Rain while the on-hit damage improves sustained DPS.
Reducing enemy magic resistance also increases the effectiveness of Make It Rain and Malady's own magic damage.
Guardian Angel
A late-game insurance policy.
Miss Fortune is still an ADC.
If enemies dive onto you, Guardian Angel gives you another chance to reposition and use Bullet Time after reviving.
Flex Items
Nashor's Tooth
Choose when:
your team lacks magic damage
fights last longer
Benefits
high Attack Speed
high Ability Power
stronger on-hit damage
stronger Make It Rain
This leans the build further toward hybrid DPS.
Wit's End
Best against
heavy AP teams
Provides
Magic Resistance
Attack Speed
magic damage on-hit
Excellent defensive option without sacrificing damage.
Blade of the Ruined King
Against
tanks
bruisers
health stacking champions
Adds
percentage health damage
lifesteal
Attack Speed
Improves sustained dueling significantly.
Ionic Spark
Great for
split pushing
farming
grouped team fights
Provides
Attack Speed
Health
The chain lightning offers additional wave clear and contributes extra magic damage, fitting the hybrid theme.
Youmuu's Ghostblade
For snowballing.
Provides
Attack Damage
Armor Penetration
Cooldown Reduction
Movement Speed active
Useful when playing aggressively and looking for picks.
Last Whisper
Against teams stacking armor.
Since much of your damage is still physical, armor penetration remains valuable into tank-heavy compositions.
Black Cleaver
Against bruisers or multiple frontline champions.
Provides
Health
Attack Damage
Armor Reduction
Helps both you and your teammates deal more physical damage.
Maw of Malmortius
Best against: Heavy AP burst (Annie, Veigar, LeBlanc, Brand, Ryze, Kassadin)
Maw of Malmortius provides a strong balance of offense and defense by granting Attack Damage, Magic Resistance, and a lifesaving magic damage shield.
Unlike Guardian Angel, which protects against any damage after death, Maw helps you survive the initial burst from enemy mages, allowing you to reposition and continue dealing damage.

Your build was really fun to play. I ended up just going 29/0/1 (including the AP masteries) and the Rageblade worked great, thanks for sharing this.

Hello I'm glad you had fun and achieved an amazing KDA. Old MF works great with AP Ratio on her W, E, and R. Try to max E, W, Q if you see any difference.

Okay I have to make sure I clarify, didn't go 29/0/1, I just meant the masteries I ran were slightly different. I will try out maxing E next time or in matchups where it's a bit more difficult to auto attack. My final KDA was definitely not that good, I wish
